Employment Requirements

License Requirements

All applicants must have a valid driver’s license. All applicants must have an acceptable driving record in order to be eligible for employment. Motor Vehicle Records will be obtained for proof of driving eligibility.

Background Requirements

Vertical Limit Construction requires a criminal background check for all employees once a conditional offer of employment has been extended. Although a disqualification is possible, in accordance with federal and state laws, a previous conviction does not automatically disqualify an applicant from consideration for employment with Vertical Limit Construction. However, if an applicant attempts to withhold information or falsify information pertaining to previous convictions, the employee will be disqualified from further employment consideration in any position with the company due to falsification of an application.

Drug Testing Requirements

A pre-employment drug screen will be required of all candidates. All testing will be conducted by a licensed independent medical laboratory, which will follow established testing standards.

DOT Physical Requirements

A condition of employment, successful applicants for employment will be required, as to take a DOT medical examination to establish their fitness to perform the jobs for which they have applied without endangering the health and safety of themselves or others.

As a Tower Technician you will be working in a team environment constructing various tower types including self-support and monopoles, whether it is a new build, site mod, grain elevator, or on a roof top. You will have the knowledge to effectively utilize tools, technology, and other resources to install guy wires, grounding, mounting, cad welding, and/or inspecting structures in which you will be expected to follow all safety precautions set forth by Federal, State, & Vertical Limit’s regulations at all elevations.


Our Service Tower Technicians, work in a team to complete daily activities that include on-site installation, repair, and modification of a variety of wireless equipment on infrastructures which includes various tower types including guy towers, self-support, and monopoles. They participate in and carry out installation, repair, modification, optimization, or acceptance test procedures of wireless infrastructures and electrical equipment.


Our iTechs help with the installation, repair, modification, optimization, or acceptance test procedure efforts of various wireless and electrical equipment. Our teams work in the shelters and follow all safety precautions while assisting in the isolation of hardware, software, and air interface malfunctions utilizing multiple test equipment on various products and technology.


Our Civil crews are working in a team environment helping to build the beginning stages of the infrastructure before stacking the tower can begin. The beginning stages consist of helping move both physical and natural materials such as earth, concrete, wood, stone, and metal at construction sites. You will be expected to utilize hand tools and other resources while effectively assisting in clearing land, excavating, trenching, grubbing, grading, concrete, rebar work, etc.
